All common area programs should be reviewed daily, with cross-checks
against the known checksums.  Changes should be logged.  These areas
include <tt>/bin</tt>, <tt>/sbin</tt>, <tt>/usr/bin</tt>,
<tt>/usr/sbin</tt> and any additional common areas, such as
<tt>/usr/local</tt> and <tt>/opt</tt>.
